New Service Allows Oklahoma Teachers to View Certification Scores Online

OKLAHOMA CITY – July 1, 2013 – The Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation (OCTP) recently released a new application allowing Oklahoma Educators an online location, available 24/7, to view certification examination history on multiple platforms. In addition, the application allows OCTP to collect and monitor Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Education (CEOE) data electronically.

More People Are Talking To The Government On Mobile Devices

About 40 percent of federal government website visitors have gone to the same website on a smartphone or tablet, according to a quarterly survey by the Consultancy ForeSee released on Tuesday. After the first quarter of 2013, only one-third of federal website visitors said they'd looked at a government site at some point using a smartphone or tablet.

Government Agencies Create Mobile Apps In Advance of Stage 2

Government agencies are taking a proactive role developing apps to help the public stay healthy or find help when needed. Information Week asks if 2013 will be the year of the mobile app, and it seems Uncle Sam thinks so. Health apps created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) being promoted to the public in part to help with “new patient engagement requirements that are part of the government's Meaningful Use Stage 2 program.”
