1st Annual Oklahoma RoundUp IT Conference Slated for Dec. 11th

OKLAHOMA CITY– December 8, 2013 – OpenRange, an Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) program that provides Oklahoma State agencies and affiliates access to shared IT resources, will have the first annual OpenRange RoundUp on Wed., Dec. 11 at the NCED Conference Center and Hotel in Norman, OK. Registration is free for all Oklahoma state agency and affiliate employees. To register, go to openrange.ok.gov.

The RoundUp will help to educate State of Oklahoma agencies and affiliates on shared technology resources and information technology procurement contracts with exhibits, breakout sessions, keynote speakers and networking opportunities.

Town of Kiowa, Oklahoma, Launches Online Payment Center

Kiowa, OK– December 30, 2013 – Conducting business with the Town of Kiowa is now faster and more convenient. Town of Kiowa residents and businesses now have the ability to securely pay water bills online through its website, http://kiowaoklahoma.com.

"We are so pleased to unveil our new online bill pay system to the citizens and businesses of Kiowa," said Janelle Beaver, Mayor of Kiowa. "We strive to provide user-friendly methods to transact business with the city over the internet, resulting in convenience, fast access to information, and increased productivity for our staff."

Payments can be made 24 hours a day and are processed through OK.gov’s secure payment engine. OK.gov abides by rigorous policies and procedures to safeguard all personal information, such as banking information and personal data. This ensures that residents and businesses can be confident that their payments are safe, private, and secure.

Oklahoma Thunderbird Youth Academy Launches New Website

Pryor Creek, Okla.– December 27, 2013 –Oklahoma’s Thunderbird Youth Academy recently launched a new program website (http://www.ok.gov/thunderbird). The site provides information about Oklahoma’s Thunderbird Youth Academy, and the National Guard Youth ChallenNGe Program, a community-based program which trains and mentors 16-18 year old high school dropouts so that they can become productive citizens in America’s future.
